I'm a proud sci-fi / fantasy nerd. I grew up watching Star Wars and Lord of the Rings (starting with the old animated movies, before Peter Jackson came along). I devoured Tolkien and the Narnia books, and Harry Potter. As I got older, I graduated to Dune and A Song of Ice and Fire and the Cosmere, and the list goes on and on. Over the years, I became obsessed with the power of good stories.

Stories are more than escapism for me. They remind me about what truly matters in life: courage, devotion, hope, and the wonder that can be found in small corners of the world.

I always dreamed of writing my own stories. When I first published the Shadow Watch almost seven years ago, I had no idea was in store. I'm blown away every day that I get to make up stories and call it my job.

My latest book is called Children of the Gods, a dragon fantasy epic that blends classic fantasy and modern fantasy in a thrilling adventure at the edge of the world.

I've poured everything I've learned into this new book, and brought on some absolute pros to help make this series the best it can possibly be.
